Aspen - This watercolor painting is a plein air interpretation of being among the aspen trees. The cool inviting colors give you the feeling of being under a clear, blue sky.
It is a joy to hike in the aspen. If I painted this watercolor painting again the next year, the aspen forest would be different. They change quickly with new growth and loss of old trees.
